Round open-top tanks
Round open-top tank, flat base
Sits straight on a concrete plinth. Holds pre-treatment water, sludge water or any wastewater stage. Add a semi-transparent strip or a level tube to see the liquid level.
Round open-top tank, conical base and support
Solids slide down the cone to one bottom outlet. Used as a clarifier, bio tank, coagulation tank or PAC chemical holding tank, on a mild steel, FRP-laminated or pultruded FRP stand.
Square, rectangular and sludge tanks
Square tank, pyramid base
Primary clarifier. Solids slide down four sloping sides to one outlet. Width 1 m to 4 m.
Rectangular with partition
PAC chemical holding. Partitions split it into compartments you fill or drain separately. Up to 8 m long.
Sludge holding tank
Horizontal round tank, low and long beside the filter press. Diameter 1 m to 3 m.

Matched to what the tank holds
GP resin
Orthophthalic polyester, as used in our cold water tanks. For water and mild liquids. Working temperature 25 to 40°C.
ISO resin
Isophthalic polyester. A premium polyester with good chemical resistance.
Vinyl ester
For most acids, alkalis and harsher chemicals. Working temperature about 40 to 75°C, depending on the chemical. Tell us the chemical and we confirm.
VE inside, GP outside
Chemical resistance on the wet side, economy on the outside.
Extra corrosion barrier
A resin-rich inner layer with polyester veil can be added on the wet side. Tell us the chemical, its concentration and its temperature, and we recommend the resin and the inner layer.

Plinth
Level concrete plinth at least 250 mm above ground, free of stones and debris.
Lifting
Lift only when empty, with slings on the lifting lugs. Never by pipes.
Pipework
Support every pipe and valve on its own footing.
Fittings
Do not overtighten. Rubber or plastic washers, no putty.
